REVIEW:

It’s 1955 in a remote American desert town that’s hosting the junior stargazer convention… with world changing events disrupting the programming.

The cast is out of this world, though some are under-utilised their sum is greater than any part, thematically it’s brilliant, visually stunning and quite whimsically funny.

Wes Anderson has made the most Wes Anderson film ever and I loved it.

Not all stories have a point. The key is to just keep telling the story…. The story is the point.

PRESS RELEASE:

ASTEROID CITY takes place in a fictional American desert town circa 1955. Synopsis: The itinerary of a Junior Stargazer/Space Cadet convention (organized to bring together students and parents from across the country for fellowship and scholarly competition) is spectacularly disrupted by world-changing events.
