REVIEW
The Menu tells the story of the pinnacle intersection of art and food in a most immersive, and expensively exquisite degustation experience on a remote destination island.
I found it super engaging - outside of its horror theme, the film pokes its tongue at a few accepted wisdoms, cultural norms and behaviours that make you think.
What’s really on the menu? A broken superstar chef dismantling his own ego - and the ego and greed of his carefully selected diners.
It’s a wild ride of crazy, with a decent smattering of dark humour - I really enjoyed it.
This film will leave you wanting s’more!
